Private Room at Crystal River Retreat with Salt Water Pool

The property was not what was advertised or expected on the VERBO listing, you could only contact host, which was AI, with Zero answers. After booking was given the property owners phone contact and when contacted was told that it was a live in home and shared living, kitchen and bathroom shared with someone staying in one bedroom and the owner in another part of the house. Went and looked at it when arrived in town and left and did not use the property. Owner told me that it was listed on VERBO through a separate company. Very disappointed and had to find another place to stay. The property owner was very nice on the phone and was upset that the listing was misleading

The whole place smelled like pee. It was very hot and the house was messy. She was very nice but I was uncomfortable staying there.

Positive: Absolutely love it !! Amazing hospitality feels like home. Very accommodating cozy and all the amenities!! Actually enjoyed it so much I’m staying a few more days..

Positive: The location was great for where we had plans to visit. Negative: The listing says shared bathroom which we expected meant just one bathroom for all, considering it said "entire apartment" but to our surprise the second night the renters roommate and their dog showed up at around 8pm, which was very surprising and awkward. Felt weird being there with a stranger, having no prior knowledge to them showing up. Then listening to said stranger snoring all night was kind of annoying. If you dont mind sharing a space with someone you dont know then its a great spot. The house was nice.
